Votec Kft. Launches a
New R&D Project
Votec Kft., based in Szeged, has launched its latest R&D project with approximately HUF 71.80 million in non-refundable EU funding — the development of its unique, patent-based, world-exclusive modular sound system called E-Flexibility, specifically the Line 6s N12 speaker system.
This time, the company's goal is to develop and produce a prototype of a flat-wave panel made up of small units, which approximates theoretical plane-wave radiation as closely as possible.
The system to be developed under the project titled "Development of a Line Matrix Speaker Panel" (project code GINOP-2.1.1-15-2016-0075) is aimed not at stage use, but primarily at opening entirely new possibilities in the fields of security technology and environmental protection.
Regarding environmental applications, since the system will also be capable of long-range sound cancellation, it can be used to reduce noise pollution from highways, railway lines, airports, and amplified music events.

The Line Matrix is an innovative modular speaker system designed for long-distance, clear, and highly directed sound transmission. Its special panel-based construction allows multiple units to be connected together, creating a powerful large-scale sound system capable of covering extensive areas. The technology is based on a flat, modular loudspeaker panel capable of emitting concentrated sound waves. This enables the system to deliver clear and intelligible audio information even over long distances, while reducing unnecessary environmental noise.
We are a full-service sound engineering firm. We specialize in providing professional audio solutions—ranging from high-end equipment rental to live sound mixing and system design—primarily for live events like concerts, corporate galas, and festivals.

Both! We offer "Dry Hire" (equipment only) for established pros, but our bread and butter is "Wet Hire," where we provide the full sound system along with our expert engineers to set up and run the show.
To ensure we have the specific gear and crew available for your date, we recommend reaching out at least 4 to 8 weeks in advance. However, for smaller gigs or last-minute emergencies, give us a call—we’ll do our best to make it happen.
Absolutely. We can perform a "System Tune" to optimize what’s already there, or bring in a "Point Source" or "Line Array" supplement to ensure the coverage meets our quality standards.
Every event is unique. Our quotes are based on the scale of the venue, the expected audience size, the duration of the event, and the specific technical rider requirements of the performers.
Redundancy is part of our DNA. We build "failsafes" into every signal chain, including backup consoles and spare microphones, ensuring that the show goes on no matter what.
